We are seeking several part-time Artists to join our team. Candidates should be exceptionally talented, motivated, bright, and committed to our Senior Community. This role will be part of our Life Enrichment Team, which is responsible for implementing a variety of programming including Expressive Arts, Dance Movement, and Music that will meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents.
Hattie Ide Chaffee Home is a 60-bed non-profit nursing community, with our own in-house therapy team. We are top-rated, offer a warm intimate environment, and pride ourselves on the care we provide to our residents and their families. Our team is very dedicated, and our residents are engaging.

Overall Responsibilities:
Candidates should have diverse interests and backgrounds in the arts, theater, music, dance, creative movement, sewing, knitting, etc. Our residents are most important and Candidates should be experienced and sensitive to the aging process, including individualized needs of the Alzheimer’s and Dementia population. Adaptability is crucial, as programs need to change with the changing needs of our residents. Strong Communication and caring attitudes are a must, as the candidates will be interacting and engaging residents in therapeutic programs. Interaction with the families of our residents, as well as our care teams will occur daily. The candidates must offer patience and guidance to our residents.
