We are seeking an experienced Chef with good communication and organizational skills, ability to take charge and lead their team, while also being a team player.

State Servsafe Certification is required. Nursing Home experience is a plus.

Overall Responsibilities: Our Chefs play an important role in our residents’ care. Alongside our Food Director and our Dietitian, you will be responsible for planning menus, preparing meals and ensuring food safety procedures are always followed. Our Chefs also assist with taking inventory, ordering, training employees and assisting with education programs.

Staying current on the individual procedures and protocols for the facilities, including state-specified rules and regulations, is a must.

Communication with multiple departments is an important aspect of the role, and the right candidate will need strong verbal skills.
